IT Schedule 70 is the largest, most widely used acquisition vehicle in the federal government. Schedule 70 is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple award schedule, providing direct access to products, services and solutions from more than 5,000 certified industry partners.

General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software, and Services – Pursuant to Section 211 of the e-Gov Act of 2002, Cooperative Purchasing provides authorized State and local government entities access to information technology items offered through GSA’s Schedule 70 and the Corporate contracts for associated special item numbers. Contracts with the COOP PURC icon indicate that authorized state and local government entities may procure from that contract.

Supplies and services can be ordered directly from GSA Schedule contractors, and through the GSA Advantage!® online shopping and ordering system. When using GSA Schedules, ordering activities have the opportunity to meet small business goals, while promoting compliance with various environmental and socioeconomic laws and regulations.

Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC)

Overview:

The Strategic Partners Acquisition Reediness Contract (SPARC) are 10 year multiple award IDIQ vehicles with a $25B ceiling to support enterprise system development within CMS. These awards will focus on and support the CMS IT Modernization Program with an enhanced approach to system and software development. The SPARC IDIQ facilitates and improves how CMS acquires, implements, and maintains its systems and software across the Agency. This contract vehicle allows us to bring unclassified cyber capabilities and software engineering support to CMS.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is the main operating division of Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that administers the Medicare program, providing health care security and choice for aged and disabled people in this country. Jointly with the State governments, CMS also administers the Medicaid program. CMS is the largest purchaser of health care in the United States, CMS’ programs account for more than one third of the dollars spent on health care in the U.S. economy.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

The purpose of this contract is to establish a multiple award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC) program. This contract will provide strategic, technical, and program management advice, guidance and support services to CMS to facilitate the modernization of business processes and supporting systems and their operations. These systems will include the Federal Healthcare Exchange and Medicare/Medicaid information technology systems. Other Department of Health and Human Services Operating Divisions (HHS OPDIVs) may place orders under this contract as well.

WMATA BOA

BITS has been awarded the IT Staff Augmentation Acquisition, a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)/Multiple Award Task Order contract (MATOC). This contract is intended to provide information technology (IT) staff augmentation for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA).

Through this contract, the WMATA will award multiple IDIQ/MATOC contracts under which the Authority can award task orders to acquire IT services. Each Task order awarded will be a five (5) year task order contract with a base and four (4) one year options.
